Hi Everyone!
Well, I've been in Virginia for over six weeks now, so I thought I would tell you all what I have been up to. First off, I came here on an airplane- and I rode by myself for the very first time! There was a nice lady named Lisa who sat next to me the whole way. Lisa got off the plane when we stopped in Cincinnati and got two McDonalds meals. One was a Happy Meal, and the other was a regular meal. Mine had a Tarzan toy in it! I saw a movie on the plane. It was Shakespeare in Love and I liked it because it was funny.
I flew into Baltimore, MD where Rob and Cathy picked me up.
Baltimore is about five hours from Virginia Beach. The first thing I noticed was how green it is out here. There are lots of green trees everywhere and grass too. I also learned that I should keep my eyes on the side of the road, because there is lots of wild life and if you aren't watching, you can miss a chance to see a deer. When we got to Cathy and Rob's apartment, I was asleep and Rob had to carry me into the house.
The next morning, when I woke up and looked around I saw that their apartment has a great view. There is a big balcony and you can see the water from the two sliding glass doors. On the balcony Aunt Cathy has a birdfeeder so there are Cardinals and lots of little birds that come all the time. Also, we put out peanuts to feed the Blue Jays and Ed, the squirrel. Sometimes Ed is naughty and digs in Cathy's planters to bury peanuts. They also have a washer and dryer right in their apartment. (This helps a lot when you go swimming almost every day. Lots of wet swimsuits to deal with! Cath) I have my own little corner where I sleep and keep my stuff. Their apartment is REALLY, really colorful.
